Robert Bonomo is the Risk Control Manager for USI Insurance Services in the Blue Bell Office.  He has over 41 years of risk management experience in the Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland areas.  He is responsible for assisting customers with their safety and loss control programs. 

In Bob’s role, the functions that are performed to improve the client’s risk control efforts are as follows:

• Conduct risk management assessments for both captive and non-captive clients.
• Conducts loss analyses to determine the loss trends, then develops an action plan focusing on reducing the cost drivers.
• Develop worker compensation cost containment programs.
• Assists with OSHA audits, including attending the informal conference.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments as well as employee ergonomic training.
• Provide safety and management training sessions for both internal and external customers.
• Assist with management, employee safety, and fleet training. 
• Provide defensive driving training.
• Interface with the insurance carriers to coordinate service plans for clients.
• Provide guidance with industrial hygiene surveys to include conducting noise and ergonomic surveys. 

Prior to joining USI, Bob worked for the PMA Insurance Group as a Senior Risk Control Consultant.  His 27-year career focused on developing safety programs and providing training for corporate clients while utilizing best practices to assess prospective and existing clients.  Bobs accomplishments include creating safety programs for clients, running regulatory compliance audits, creating safety programs for clients, providing industrial hygiene surveys, and providing employee and management safety training.
