What is the Bridges to Prosperity Coalition?

The Bridges to Prosperity Coalition (BTP) is a coalition of businesses and civic leaders focused on modern transportation funding solutions.

Maryland is at a point where gridlock and aging infrastructure are costing us cost jobs, investment, and credibility. If we do not change how we fund major projects, we will fall behind neighboring states that are already moving forward.

Our Mission: BTP strongly advocates for the use of Public-Private Partnerships (P3s) to move critical investments forward when traditional funding falls short. From major regional crossings like the American Legion Bridge and the Chesapeake Bay Bridge to other essential corridors across the state, P3s represent Maryland's path forward. These infrastructure projects protect Maryland's economic future, our ability to attract and retain good-paying jobs, and our quality of life.
