Have You Contacted Your Elected Officials?
In less than two weeks elected officials will return to Washington. It is vital that you and your employees communicate with them the need for a transportation bill.
Please contact your Senators and Representatives and urge them to make passing a long-term reauthorization bill a priority for 2010.

Voter Information
Please mark your calendars. The Primary election will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. A list of Polling place locations are available from the
Board of Elections.
Those Registered Voters who wish to vote by Absentee Ballot may do so by mailing an
Absentee Ballot Application to the address on the form. Absentee Ballots must be received no later than September 7, 2010.

MdQI Award Nominations
The Awards Subcommittee invites you to submit nominations for the 2010 Awards of Excellence. For rules and forms, go to
www.mdae.org/mdqi2011/mdqi.html. The award applications will be due to the sponsoring agencies by September 30, 2010.
Awards will be presented at the 2011 MdQI Conference scheduled for February 2 & 3, 2011 at the Sheraton, Baltimore City Center.
