MDE Green Card for Erosion & Sediment Control
The Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) “Responsible Personnel Training for Erosion and Sediment Control” program (Green Card Certification) is presented by the State Highway Administration to those who are involved in State Roads projects or projects on State Highway Administration right of way. The half-day presentation covers:
–Process of Erosion and Sedimentation
–Impacts to the Environment
–Regulatory Policy
–Erosion and Sediment Controls that appear in the MDE 1994 Standards and Specifications
The MDE Green Card Certification is a prerequisite to the Basic Erosion and Sediment Control Course (Yellow Card) however, the Yellow Card classes now include the MDE Green Card.
