The training program is intended to expose participants to the federal policy-making process and political realities of the transportation construction industry. This year’s program coincides with ARTBA’s Federal Issues Program and Transportation Construction Coalition Fly-In, giving participants an opportunity to attend some of those sessions as well. In less than two weeks elected officials will return to Washington. It is vital that you and your employees communicate with them the need for a transportation bill.

Please contact your Senators and Representatives and urge them to make passing a long-term reauthorization bill a priority for 2010.

Please mark your calendars. The Primary election will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010. A list of Polling place locations are available from the Board of Elections.

Those Registered Voters who wish to vote by Absentee Ballot may do so by mailing an Absentee Ballot Application to the address on the form. Absentee Ballots must be received no later than September 7, 2010.
