(From ARTBA)

Contractor Leaders and Affiliates:

As indicated in our Newsline story from late last week, ARTBA has developed a user-friendly “plain English” publication to help contractors comply with the new OSHA silica standard.  Please note, as the story indicates, that ARTBA remains closely involved in litigation to further defer the implementation of, revise or reverse the rule.  In the mean time, however, it is important for contractors  to have this information.  The Newsline story can be found here…

Because of the time and expense associated with researching and preparing this document, we are selling it for the modest sum of $10.00 per user (easily purchased by following the link to the ARTBA Store included in the story).

For this reason, and also because of ARTBA’s ongoing effort to identify and maintain contact with contractors interested in the silica issue,  we respectfully request that our chapters do not provide this document to your members directly, but rather refer them to the Newsline story and/or the ARTBA Store link.  Please contact Brad or myself if you have questions or need more information.

Thank you for your assistance and support on this issue, as well as our entire regulatory advocacy program.
